DESIGN >>> Lord of the Logos, typographie, Christophe Szpajdel.

Tant qu’il y a du noir, il y a de l’espoir.

Créateur de logos  Christophe Szpajdel a contribué à donner un visuel original pour le Heavy Métal. En s’inspirant de la nature et de l’art déco, Szpajdel crée de fortes identités typographiques, et avec elles des hordes de fans parmi les fidèles du métal.

Lord of the Logos compile beaucoup de travaux de  Szpajdel en un seul volume. Le livre est publié pour ressembler à un livre de magie noire. La conception graphique est complétée par des images de sombres paysages,  contextualisation  de ses logos et explication de l’importance des influences, qui se combinent dans l’intégration fluide de la lettre et l’élément visuel.

Christophe Szpajdel’s dynamic logo design has helped set a distinct visual tone for heavy metal. Pulling from nature and the art deco, Szpajdel creates strong typographic identities, and with them hordes of fans among the metal faithful.
Lord of the Logos compiles much of Szpajdel’s work in a single volume. Fittingly the book is published to resembled a black prayer book. The graphic design is complemented by dark landscape images, working to contextualize the logos and explain the breadth of Szpajdel’s influences – which combine in the fluid integration of letter and visual element.
